DireqPortal released as key component of DireqOpenlab 2.0

DireqLearn is proud to announce the launch of the next iteration of DireqOpenlab. This leading thin-client linux-based computer lab solution has been highly enhanced in its version 2.0 release, and is now being implemented in existing sites in South Africa and Nigeria as part of the update program. New installations on the continent will now be based on this next iteration. The solution has a number of technology enhancements, which are highlighted on the DireqOpenLab link.

A significant addition to the product is the addition of the DireqPortal, an interactive educational gateway linking teachers and students to educational content, resources, software and links, both server-based (off-line) and Internet-based (online). The DireqPortal, as part of DireqOpenLab 2.0 can be updated transparently on a daily basis when the site has an Internet connection, ensuring educational sites have access to the best educational content.
